IPA is the outpost of international education

Every year the scope of IPA scientific and educational activity is enlarged, its main goal is coordination of the international community efforts aimed at the integration of higher school of separate states into the world educational space.

Together with the higher educational institutions — collective mem­bers of IPA, joint two-year Post-Graduate School prepares citizens of various countries for competition for scientific degrees of Doctor of Philosophy and Doctor of Science in the field of business administration, economics, finance, law, sociology, psychology, pedagogics and other specialties.

Scores of famous businessmen, state functionaries, leaders of enterprises, etc. have graduated from the Post-Graduate School in the course of several years of its existence.

On the representation of higher educational institutions-ІРА collective members the Presidium of Academy confers scientific degrees of full professors and assistant professors of corresponding departments on teach­ers of these higher educational establishments.

International Personnel Academy and Inter-Regional Academy of Personnel Management (IAPM) have founded Scientific-Methodical institute of international education and management problems aimed at the maximum usage of intellectual potential of professors, teachers and scien­tists of IPA and other higher educational institutions — its collective members; and also providing with high quality of specialists training, conducting scientific conferences.

Every month in the Institute, together with IPA representatives from different countries, seminars, conferences, "round tables" are conducted, dedicated to organization and realization of educational-methodical and scientific-research activity.

Association of Personnel Management (АРМ) has been founded on the basis of International Personnel Academy and Inter-Regional Academy of Personnel Management (IAPM). The Association is a voluntary union of workers of personnel, legal and social-psychological departments of enterprises, staff of employment and professional orientation centres, teachers and organizers of permanent education, authorities, specialists and businessmen of different standards, and also IAPM graduates and students.

APM's major aim and tasks are the following: promotion of regular professional contacts between its members, rise of their qualification, perfecting their business qualities and raising their educational level in the selected sphere of activity and also professional training and retraining; improvement of qualification and work experience exchange.

On the initiative of international Personnel Academy and Inter-Regional Academy of Personnel Management the Council of Managers of Ukraine was founded.

Major aims of the Council of Managers of Ukraine activity

• to join efforts of the country management corps to make manage­ment on all levels and in all spheres of activity more efficient;
• to perfect systems and methods of governing the state, managing its economy , science and culture by means of working out and putting into practice effectual scientific ideas, recommendations and projects, organi­zational and legal standards of management.
• to determine managers place and role in the process of organizing and perfecting modern management system, to form management potential, etc.

Members of the Council are provided with complex scientific-methodi­cal and informational means on various problems of management (professional consultations, assistance in conducting researches, work experience exchanges, purchasing modern educational-methodical literature on favourable terms, etc.).

On the initiative of International Personnel Academy and Inter-Regional Academy of Personnel Management (IAPM) Confederation of non-state higher educational institutions of Ukraine has been founded.
The main aim of Confederation activity is to unite industrial, scientific, creative, economic, commercial and other interests and kinds of its mem­bers activity, to co-ordinate efforts of non-state higher educational institu­tions for the development of the national system of education and the state in general.
Among the participants of Confederation there are Inter-Regional Academy of Personnel Management (Kyiv), Academy of Labour and Social Relations of Ukraine Federation of trade unions (Kyiv), Higher school of business-Institute of economy and management, Kharkov social-economi­cal institute, Cherkassy cooperative college of Economics and Law and some other higher educational institutions from various regions of Ukraine.

Another structure, founded together with Inter-Regional Academy of Per­sonnel Management (IAPM), is Inter­national library-informational centre with hundreds of thousands of copies of edu­cational-methodical literature on many branches of modern knowledge.

The Centre offers a wide spectrum of services to students, postgraduate students,teachers, scientists,businessmen and other specialists from Ukraine and other countries. A great part of book stock is represented by scientific-methodical and educa­tional literature published by IAPM.

Academy and Inter-Regional Academy of Personnel Management have developed and are successfully realizing the international educational project Presidential University for practical realization of ideals of interna­tional cooperation in the field of science, culture, education. The project foresees foundation of higher educational institution of a principally new type, consisting of separate institutions, bearing names of the most famous and honoured people of the planet.
It is planned to studying national languages, culture and traditions of different peoples at the above institutes. It is also envisaged to provide privileges while studying for the students from a country the famous figure of which has gave name to an institute.

Foreign probation-periods to Australia, Great Britain, Egypt, Israel, Cyprus, Poland, USA and other countries are organized for students, pro­fessors and teachers to get acquainted with higher educational system of these countries and to study foreign languages.

International exhibitions of prestigious educational establishments with higher educational institutions — Academy collective members participating in them have become traditional. At the exhibitions educational institutions show their experience, modern pedagogical and informational technologies, educational literature, mo­dem methodical providing, technical means of training. The number of exhibitions participants is enlarged with every new forum, that testifies to their prestige and effectiveness.

Since 1995 on the basis of methodology, created by research workers of Sociology Institute of Ukraine National Academy of Sciences, expert Gallop polls have been made yearly by the Academy to compile ratings of higher educational institutions. So according to the results of the latest research 2 higher educational establishments of different forms of ownership — Kyiv T. Shevchenko National University and Inter-Regional Academy of Personnel Management — were declared the best in Ukraine in 1998.
